MASSAGE THERAPY SERVICES

Our highly experienced contracted certified massage therapy team tailors their massages to the client’s needs to effect desired results.

Types of Massage offered:

  • Cranial Sacral - Light Pressure used to manipulate the Cranial Rhythm. The Cranial Rhythm is an echo that pulses from your brain down your entire body. Emotional and physical trauma can disrupt this Rhythm. In a session, holds are placed onto your head that cause the body and mind to reset for an hour and feel like you just took a nap. The effects last for 48 hours making you feel like you had a great night’s sleep the night after the session.

  • Deep Tissue Massage - Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles. It is used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders.

  • Himilayan Salt Stone - Like a Hot stone session, heat is applied to the body through stones. The difference is in the stones. They are made out of salt. The salt helps exfoliate the skin, ionize the body to a calming level, and opens myofascial layers with heat that penetrates deeper than Basalt stones. Come into session, hydrated.

  • Hot Stone Therapy - Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly.

  • Lymphatic Drainage Massage – Lymphatic drainage massage is a form of gentle massage that encourages the movement of lymph fluids around the body. The fluid in the lymphatic system helps remove waste and toxins from the bodily tissues. Some health conditions can cause lymph fluid to build up. Lymphatic drainage massages can benefit people with lymphedema, fibromyalgia, encourages a healthy immune system.

  • Post-Injury Massage – Our post-injury massage focuses on increasing the blood flow to the affected area while helping the body dispose of the waste bi-products during the healing process. It helps speed up the overall recovery of the affected area.

  • Prenatal Massage – Improve overall health, reduce stress, and relieve muscle tension. Prenatal massage therapy can help reduce anxiety, decrease symptoms of depression, relieve muscle aches and joint pains, and improve labor outcomes and newborn health. This is a gentle massage with the aims to relax muscle tension and improve lymphatic and blood circulation through mild pressure applied to the muscle groups of the body.

  • Reflexology - Reflexology, also known as zone therapy, involves application of pressure to the feet and hands with specific thumb, finger, and hand techniques. It is based on a system of zones and reflex areas that purportedly reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands, with the premise that such work effects a physical change to the body.

  • Reiki – Reiki a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well-being.

  • Sports Massage - Helps enhance your workout and post-workout recovery. Techniques used in these sessions help stimulate increase in range of motion and blood circulation before a workout. While calming the body down and getting you ready to finish your day off in a relaxed state.

  • Swedish - Sometimes, you don’t need lots of pressure. The body just needs to increase circulation throughout the body. This modality provides a light relaxational massage for the entire body.

  • Trigger Point Massage – Trigger point massage therapy is focused on relieving this pain from the source through cycles of pressure and release and deep breathing. The tight, constricted areas of muscle are relieved and the pain decreased – even just one session of trigger point therapy can significantly decrease pain.  Trigger point massage therapy is often uncomfortable, as these areas are extremely tender and require direct pressure to loosen the muscles. However, the short-term discomfort is worth the long-term benefits of trigger point therapy.
