Sports Performance Training Specialist

Adam Parsons is entering his 4th year at Pritchette Physical Therapy. In his tenure Coach Parsons has worked with local athletes and teams from Desert Vista and Mountain Point high schools. Coach Parsons continues to work with Collegiate and Professional athletes in their preparation for the next level or pre-season training. In 2016 Coach Parsons has been working with the Autistic community and children in developing programs to improve their strength, motor skills, coordination, and balance.

Before working in the Ahwatukee community Coach Parsons served the previous four years as an Assistant Strength Coach for Mississippi State football. In four seasons at MSU Parsons aided in the development of sixteen players who were drafted by NFL, three of which were first round draft picks. He also trained the Bulldog team to three straight Bowl appearances, two back to back bowl wins, three straight Egg Bowl victories, and eleven All SEC Players. At MSU Parsons also assisted the men’s tennis team to 2011 and 2012 South Eastern Conference West Champions and a final top ten National ranking in 2012. 

Prior to his appointment at Mississippi State, Parsons worked three years as an strength and conditioning coach assistant at UCF where he assisted with football, track and field, men’s soccer, men’s golf, softball, women’s soccer, women’s basketball and women’s tennis. In 2009, Parsons assisted the men’s golf team in winning the Conference USA and NCAA Regional Championships, while the Knights won the conference championship again in 2010. That same year, Parsons contributed to the success of the track and field team as it won the 2010 Conference USA Outdoor Track and Field Championship. 

Parsons is a certified strength and conditioning coach by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa) of which he is also a member. He holds a Level 1 Performance Coaching certification from USA Weightlifting as well as being Etcheberry Certified by Pat Etcheberry, one of the top tennis and golf strength and conditioning coaches in the world. in 2016 Parsons also became TPI certified by the Titelist Performance Institute to further develop your golf game. 

Adam Parsons earned a Bachelor of Science in Strength and Conditioning from the University of Central Florida in 2009. In 2012, he earned a Master of Science in Kinesiology from Mississippi State University.
